Based on the amazingly popular Roblox platform, introducing budding young designers and developers to the principles of practical game design & development, world building and Lua programming. This fantastic course is based on the amazingly popular Roblox platform, and introduces budding young designers and developers to the principles of practical game design & development, world building and Lua programming. Making Multiplayer Games with Roblox uses the Roblox Studio software and will take you through everything you’ll need to create a multiplayer environment with more than one game. You don’t have to have any previous knowledge about Roblox as we’ll cover everything in this course but those who have taken our Making Games With Roblox course will find the scripting aspect of the course easier. You’re going to learn about: Servers and how they are used in gaming High scores Player interactions The Lua scripting language Publishing your game Sharing your game By the end of this course you’ll have LEARNING OUTCOMES ● Principles of practical game design & development, world building and Lua programming. ● Fundamental concepts in coding that can be applied to any language ● Design and build game worlds and racing games, and create unique interactions ● Create obstacle courses and role playing games to navigate them ● Share their coding and projects with other Roblox fans on the Internet SCHEDULE: WEDNESDAYS. 5pm to 6:30pm May 12th to June 16th After School Club
