Service Description

NOTE: THIS CAMP IS HELD IN CHELSEA ABOUT THIS CAMP This face-to-face camp has been designed for children to enjoy, have fun and learn. Our face-to-face Debating & Public Speaking summer camps are small to enable tutors and children greater scope for interaction, dialogue, questions and answers. We motivate children to develop their debating and public speaking skills while having fun. We also stimulate children to be creative. We teach children to learn how to identify a problem and look for a solution. Sometimes, some children tend to give up easily. Therefore, we teach children that they need to try for alternate solutions to a given problem. WHAT WE TEACH Learn and consolidate fundamental principles of debating and public speaking. Effective critical thinking. Elaborating an argument, putting forward an argument, debating, negotiating and deconstructing an opposition argument. Developing dialogue and conversational skills. Persuasive techniques. Statement and connectives. Discussion and Decision making. Structuring a speech. Public Speaking techniques. Develop problem-solving skills, teamwork and resilience. TOPICS: Monday 12: Improving Public Speaking Skills Tuesday 13: The Environment Wednesday 14: A Greener Future Thursday 15: Animals Friday 16: Out-of-Space Exploration INSTRUCTIONS We send our joining instructions 48 hours before the first day of the camp (normally Saturdays by 5:00 pm).
