Cracking the Comprehension

Reading, Analyzing, Responding - all in a time pressured environment. Welcome to the Curious Campus Comprehension Sessions, where we will teach you the tips and tricks on how to ace this section of the exam. We will be learning and practicing techniques for success on MC comprehension, including a scored test each session (scores will be shared with individual parents, but not with the group). We will start by practicing with entry-level material in order to learn the techniques, and then gradually move to harder comprehensions, finishing with tests of a difficulty similar to the hardest school exams - eg Latymer Upper. Let us introduce you to Kirk Kesterson, your teacher. Kirk has consistently helped children gain entrance to top independent schools in the UK, including Westminster, Eton, Winchester, Wycombe Abbey and St Paul’s (boys and girls). His methods have won them academic scholarships. He specializes in teaching for Verbal & Non-Verbal, GCSE English Language and Literature Exams, US College Prep, including SAT's and ACT's and in writing personal statements for university applications. Kirk's accomplishments will read like an award list at the Queens Birthday, but let his work do the talking.
