Be it an entrance exam (8+, 11+, 13+) or any of the academic English steps you need to take, these sessions with Isabella Stuart would be worth your while. Isabelle is currently writing a PhD on modernist poetry (T. S. Eliot, W. B. Yeats and Ezra Pound all loom large) and teaching in the English Department at Oxford, where she also did her undergraduate degree in English. In between the two she worked in publishing, climate finance, completed an MPhil at Cambridge and spent a year as a Sachs scholar at Princeton University, all experiences which developed in one way or another from her love of literature and language. As well as teaching undergraduate students at Oxford, she has helped younger students from across the globe with all sorts of English exams, from 11+ to IB, and has mentored more than 50 students in their successful applications to UK schools and universities. In her spare time, she enjoys writing essays and book reviews for publications like the FT Arts, Public Books and the Athenaeum Review. She firmly believes that literature can enrich everyone’s lives, and tries to impart a sense of the joy it can bring to each of her students.
