Service Description

Claire studied at Cambridge University for four years and graduated with a degree in Biological Sciences with Education. She is a highly experienced primary school teacher with over 22 years of teaching in a variety of London prep schools and has taught a range of subjects including: English, Maths, Science, Geography, History, RE, Verbal / Non-Verbal Reasoning and PSHCE (personal, social, health and citizenship education) as well as preparing children for interviews. Claire has privately tutored children for over 16 years ranging in age from 5-12 years old in English, Maths, Reasoning and in emotional resilience in order to boost self-esteem. She has successfully prepared children for the 7+, 8+, 10+, 11+ and the 13+ pre-test exams for a range of schools including: St Paul's Junior and Senior School, St Paul's Girls' School, King’s College Wimbledon, Emmanuel, Putney High School, Latymer Upper, Godolphin and Latymer, Sussex House and Bute House. Her strong communication skills, both verbal and written, allow her to build professional relationships with colleagues and parents. Passionate about delivering high-quality education, she ensures every child is seen, valued, and given the opportunity to reach their full potential.
